En Plein Air simply means I was outside painting from direct observation. Nature is my favorite source of inspiration and so I am forever studying it. From Cloudscapes to Seascapes, long landscapes to zoomed in ones,  I love the array of colors, values and temperatures as well as the textures and rhythms I see in nature. You will see the influence landscapes have on my impressionistic work to my abstracts, but this collection is from direct observation whether color study or emotional experience.
